(More customer reviews)The claim for brass hinges is false---the hardware is brass plated and a terrible brass plating job. The seat and cover is stained with little or no varnish or protection. The wood is thin and the width of ring on which you sit is very thin and poorly finished. I would not recommend this product to anyone regardless of price.
