(More customer reviews)This works great for crawlspace vents below grade. It is the perfect size. Slotted screw holes make installation a snap. It sticks out 4 inches from the wall, making it unobtrusive, but may reduce airflow. Multiple units can be stacked for more height.

(More customer reviews)Received and installed this product as part of a new egress window construction. Because the hole is not too deep, a step out is not needed. This was the perfect product for this project. It is very easy to install, totally adjustable in the number of panels you can use, and it looks great. I was worried I would have to do either an oversided egress well with steps or an ugly metal well that is too small. This was the perfect solution in the middle of each.
If you have a need for a window well that is between 12" and 36" deep, I highly recommend this product. If you need something deeper than 36", I suggest you check out the one piece fire egress wells that have steps.
