New Ginsey Cushion Soft Padded Tolet Seat - Black Review

(More customer reviews)I wasn't expecting a whole lot when I ordered this seat, and yet still I was disappointed. It's cheap and I don't mean the price. The entire seat weighs about 6 ounces. It comes with huge white plastic hinges that look like they would last about a week. I replaced them with Metal ones from my old seat. That helped a little. The seat itself is so light that when you put it up it feels like it would break in your hand. If I had payed $5 for this seat and had free shipping I wouldn't complain, but $15 is way too much for this poor quality item. I kept it because I've been looking for a reasonably priced black seat for some time and plus I had to drill into the seat to add the other hinges. I don't expect it to last long though. I don't understand why black seats are so hard to find.

We have purchased standard toilet seats in the past with no problem.

(More customer reviews)I bought this toilet seat mainly because of the price. Like they say, if you buy cheap you gotta buy twice. The seat is made of cheap plastic, it slides constantly. I have installed many toilet seats before which I never had to adjust, maybe once a year. I had to adjust this one every week, I got so frustrated that I threw it out and bought a new one.
The only reason why I left 2 stars out of 1 is because it is semi-comfortable. Besides that, it is trash.

(More customer reviews)This is a nice color for coordinating my bathroom, and that was the primary reason I bought it. The padded seat was the other reason. My main complaint is with bolts. I cannot get them tight enough for this seat not to be wobbly. You must sit on it very carefully or else it slides left and right!
The hardware is plastic, which I thought was a positive. I have had bad experiences with metal hardware rusting and requiring a professional to remove. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it seems pretty straightforward... insert the bolts and tighten from underneath. If I start twisting them too tight, then the plastic starts bending and warping. I don't know if this is a fault in the design, or if I am simply not doing it correctly.

can barely find anything to match so when our seat broke I was just happy to find a seat to match but this is
awful. Just like the previous reviewer said...the brackets are white plastic which doesnt match and looks stupid,
the whole thing is made so cheap, the screws constantly come out and it doesnt stay tight on the toilet. I guess
you get what you pay for.
