(More customer reviews)We wanted an outdoor thermometer we could easily see from indoors. This thermometer appeared to be the perfect solution. I read several reviews of the more expensive digital thermometers which indicated the temperature readings were not actually the outdoor temperature as they also picked up some heat from the indoors (during the winter). This thermometer also seems to read high. I'm sure the thermometer would be just fine if it weren't attached to a surface separating such different temperatures.

(More customer reviews)Attractive and easy to read. Mounting was a bit difficult on vinyl windows; the thermometer would receive a 5 if the brass mounting arm was longer. I had to mount it to a piece of 1x2 to extend past the window sash. Accurate!
