(More customer reviews)Our house was built in 1866 and still has the huge and heavy old-fashioned storm windows and screens that have to be put up and taken down at the change of seasons. Of course, many of the screens are starting to fall apart, have large holes, etc. I bought 2 of these for a couple of windows where we just did not want to spend the money to get the big old ones repaired. They look fine and are just big enough to let in a nice breeze but not too much wind.
They are not security windows and I do not use them upstairs because I am have little kids but they work great downstairs letting in the breeze and not the bugs.
Great product for the price and ease of use.
