(More customer reviews)I bought this from a Big Orange Box Store for a very competitive price. This is why I gave it two Stars instead of just one. Got it home and installed it per the instructions. Being a very heavy unit it is nice that the main A/C unit is easily removed from the outer cabinet making the install and removal fairly easy for such a heavy nit (129 lbs).
Now for the down side, immediately upon powering the unit up for the first time it started making a loud grinding noise before shaking very violently. It appears as though the blower Fan is/was extremely out of balance. Upon calling customer service to obtain warranty service I was informed that I was outside of their service area (I live 1 hour from Boston) and to expect a call from in 5 to 7 business days once LG decides how they would like to repair it... TO BE CONTINUED
My advice at this point in time is to steer clear of LG A/C Units!!!
