The actual size is 31" X 15", which means you will need a 3/8" boarder (I used hardiebacker) and grout to fit in a 32X16 spot. This is clear glass blocks, not acrylic. The vent is cloudy plexi glass and has a dark screen on the outside.
So, in general, I really like it. Exactly what I wanted for a tiled shower I installed. My only gripe (which is why I gave it 4 stars) is that the vent piece is a white plastic, which cheapens the look. I am planning on painting it to match the tile and hope that will give it a better look.
Yes, this is not cheap but the price is reasonable and if you like a glass block window but wanted a vent, you couldn't ask for anything better.
