Kensington Auto Power Inverter with USB Power Port for Emergency Power, Battery Backup (K38022US) Review
Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I got the Kensington K38022US inverter to power a GPS that worked off USB power, and a 15" laptop.
It handles those jobs fine.
The laptop's transformer is rated at 65W, but actual measurements have it consuming 35W.
I haven't tried to approach the inverter's rated load limit.
Good idea to do actual measures on your electrical load to determine if this inverter will meet your needs.
When new, the inverter gave off a solder smell in use; that odor is dissipating.
The inverter does get warm, even powering a USB port, so it's apparently not very energy-efficient.
