(More customer reviews)I want to warn anyone who may be thinking about ordering anything from Air & Water, Inc. We ordered this NEW portable air conditioner from Air & Water, Inc. and when we finally received the item it was a USED air conditioner. The air intake panels were covered in a thick layer of dust which indicates it has had considerable use. There was also no documentation with this item...no owners manual, no warranty card, nothing. When we contacted this company, they refused to reimburse us for the $39.95 shipping charge we paid to have the item shipped to us, they also refused to cover the return shipping charge and they intend to charge us a 15% restocking fee which amounts to $59.85. This means we now have a choice of paying for a new air conditioner but keeping this used one which may or may not even work or pay $139.75 for absolutely nothing. In my opinion, this company is scamming people and should be prosecuted! BEWARE!
