(More customer reviews)This is a very nicely made product and I'm sure it would perform it's intended function of breaking out car windows and the like. Unfortunately, it doesn't work on my 3-D Maglite. Let me turn that around...my flashlight doesn't work with this tail cap on it. I understand that it is a simple matter of the cap not completing the electrical circuit, but I have yet to find a way to fix that. The seller suggested that I sand some of the black paint off of it (somewhere?), but that is not as easy as it sounds and so far I have not been able to get it to work. The next idea I am planning to try (when I have time) is to solder some copper wire around the cap so as to improve the possiblity of making electrical contact. This kind of problems shouldn't be this hard to solve and products as nice as this one shouldn't be sent out with a known defect.
