(More customer reviews)I purchased one of these years ago and have used the window punch in extrication (you have to remember to cock it all the way back to the third chuck for it to work though). I have used the saw tooth blade to cut away tempered glass, and I've used the tip to pry open screens and windows to gain entry through residential windows. Also, the thing sits in an exterior pouch on my turnout coat and exposure to extremes of heat hasn't touched it (whereas my previous Buck didn't enjoy high temps). Excellent first responder knife. I went to get a newer one and retire my old one to my personal vehicle's mini-rescue kit and found one through another web buyer-seller site and found it for $25. Unfortunately, though it was stamped S&W and came in an S&W box, everything about it was inferior. Look for the 'use safety glasses' message in the blade and the generous scallops of the saw tooth blade as well as a large tip when looking for the real thing. I believe this model has been discontinued by S&W so snatch one up if you can.

This set is of lowest quality of anything I have ever ordered on Amazon. I should have suspected I was getting a "pig in a poke" by the price and items / tools to be included in set.
The flashlight is WORST one I have ever seen, it would NOT even pass Chinese quality control. Cheap thin plastic, threads of bulb housing do not hold end on, would break if dropped from 2 ft. or anything laid on top of it. Multi-Tool is cheap stamped low grade, SOFT flimsy "metal" construction, I would certainly NOT call it any sort of steel or even good quality aluminum. Pen would not write and only "clicks" to extend pen point about 1 out of 3 times and takes NO pressure before popping back. The tire gauge is of such light weight construction it is basically a "toy" one to give a 4-6 yr old to play with, I would not trust it to accurately register air pressure of a beach balloon.
The case is of fair to mediocre construction, but is best part of the set.
Shame Amazon for even offering such a piece of JUNK, I have come to expect MUCH better from you. Someone getting too BIG for their britches and forgetting about customers?

(More customer reviews)I am a career firefighter/paramedic with seven years on the job. I have already used the knife several times on EMS calls. Four times I have used the oxygen wrench (we all know how the black tabs seem to get lost), and I have used the Zuess tool (belt cutter) and window punch on a couple of MVA's with extrication. Also used it on several trauma patients to expose them. Far superior to trauma shears. The knife is great for all around uses around the firehouse. Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)When I received this knife I was surprised by both the size and quality. Both the blade and handle are solid, providing great weight, durability, and balance. The description states the handle is aluminum, however, I would have never known judging by its strength and weight. The blade opens with ease and locks securely in place. The handle has finger grooves and gripping material providing great slip resistance, as well as a strong durable pocket clip. I own several other Smith & Wesson knives, including Rescue Knives, and have encountered issues including the pocket clip falling off and poor quality blade/handle materials. I can say from past experience, this knife is truly a "quality" tool and puts its predecessors to shame. I am very impressed with this product and would strongly recommend it to others, as it is built to last and withstand the hardships of everyday use! A definite must have for first responders!!

Columbia River Knife And Tool's Exitool 9030 Multi Tool Review

(More customer reviews)I love the idea, unfortunately it falls off the seatbelt quite often so I'm nervous it won't be there when I go to reach for it in an emergency. The clasp to open and close it seems to hit the belt buckle when it slides around after unhooking yourself, knocking it open and onto the floor or back seat. Also the light isn't very bright, less than 10 lumans, but I can't knock it as there could easily be no light included at all.

This product combines several things that are necessary in emergencies, such as:
"A powerful whistle.
"A flashlight that can light up a room or vehicle, although it seems small it works very well, and brings spare batteries, also it's waterproof.
"A device to break the windows of a car. Or any other glass.
"The folding knife to cut clothing or rope without compromising the integrity of the victim, the knife is very sharp and safe to use.
It is lightweight, has a clip to carry in your pocket, and the size is ideal because it is unobtrusive but functional.
It looks well constructed and durable.
It has a lanyard hole.
Overall a good product for those who want to be prepared.
The price is very reasonable and I recommend it because I think is a good quality product with many advantages.
