(More customer reviews)Just a very good, featureful and reliable multimeter. It works great with or without a PC. Auto ranging is great and if you leave the dial turned on without doing anything it'll eventually shut off to save the battery. You can also plug it in and it has a nice compartment in the side to hold the test leads, power cord etc.
It's a little bulky if you're primary intention is to use it for portable on-the-go stuff. But it works well either on the bench or as a portable unit otherwise.
Excellent for the price. You'd generally have to pay more for something comparable.

(More customer reviews)I was blown away by the service I received, the device was delivered swiftly, worked well but at the time didn't ship with 64bit windows 7 drivers, and I couldn't find them when I looked on the download site, so as a shot int he dark I mentioned it to the vendor when I was requesting my two free module licenses, (which came back immediately and work great), within a few hours of me sending mail he kept me informed of his forwarding the query to the manufacturers and came back the next day with pointers to the drivers and install instructions... everything worked well and I have what I feel is a bargain of a system and confidence that I can get great support.. a great transaction.

The manual is very cryptic and poorly written. But the thing works. By trial and error I found a way to defeat the 30 minute timeout. Turn the meter OFF. Press and hold BOTH the "select" and "Hz/Duty" keys. Now turn the meter ON. Release the Hz/Duty key after 2 seconds. Then release the "select" key after another 2 seconds. This will allow the meter to connect to the PC and also by-pass the 30 minute automatic timeout.
