(More customer reviews)Perhaps the other reviewer didn't read the the Product Description, which gives plenty of information on this product. Certainly enough info for me to make a purchase. I bought two of these rods to replace "wimpy" tension rods on which heavy thermal black-out curtains were hung. The wimpy ones kept falling down every time I opened or closed the curtains, or even if my cat tried to bat one out of the way so she could sit on the window sill. These heavy duty rods, however, not only hold up when either the cat or I open the curtains, but they stayed in place when my 11 lb kitty decided to *climb* the curtains!

(More customer reviews)This product was well-constructed and would have met my corner-window needs perfectly, except that the screw thread did not fit my curtain rods. It's probably standard for Levolor and perhaps most other rods, but the screw hole on my curtain rod was too large, so be aware that you might have the same problem. On the plus side, I had no difficulty returning it to Amazon, so it was worth a try.
