(More customer reviews)Perhaps the other reviewer didn't read the the Product Description, which gives plenty of information on this product. Certainly enough info for me to make a purchase. I bought two of these rods to replace "wimpy" tension rods on which heavy thermal black-out curtains were hung. The wimpy ones kept falling down every time I opened or closed the curtains, or even if my cat tried to bat one out of the way so she could sit on the window sill. These heavy duty rods, however, not only hold up when either the cat or I open the curtains, but they stayed in place when my 11 lb kitty decided to *climb* the curtains!

(More customer reviews)I bought this hoping it would be decent despite it's low price. Unfortunately, this tension rod has NO tension to it. It wouldn't even stay in place without a curtain on it. It was absolutely pathetic, and a waste of my money. I wanted to send it back for a refund, but with shipping charges it just wasn't worth it since the product was $10.00. The charges to have it shipped to me were almost the same amount as the product, which is also ridiculous. I won't buy from this company again. Clearly their products are sub-par.

The rods are a little flimsy and it doesn't lock together very well. That's my only complaint. The color I ended up with looks just as good in my living room.

(More customer reviews)We have some very long runs requiring curtain rods in our new house. After looking at a dozen places online and in town and getting annoyed at being expected to pay $30 for a basic corner connector and $22 for a single support bracket, we found these.
Very reasonable price, quality construction, simple to install if you've ever put in curtain rods before. They offer a complete system with screw-in style corner/angle connectors and more. The 1" metal rods are definitely necessary for longer runs, as the usual thinner ones from Bed Bath & Beyond, etc. get too flimsy. The appearance and finish remind me of the higher-end "builder grade" fixtures in better custom homes--not the very latest you'd get from a pro interior designer, but more than nice looking enough for a tasteful home if you don't need ultra-modern (and don't want to pay 3x or more the price). Definitely recommended.
