I bought it for my deck because I want some ambient lighting.
There were reviews about this item when I purchased it a July 2010, but there are none now.. Why is that?
Charging Performance
The missing reviews complained that it would not charge while others said that it charged just fine. I moved it around my deck to many different placed to try and capture as much direct light as possible. It turned into a chore and did little to improve performance.
Battery Life
The missing reviews said that the battery was weak and to replace it with a high quality (high mAh capacity) I replaced they battery with little improvement mainly because of the Charging Performance

Quality/ water resistant
The item rusted out in three months (again, I left it outside on my deck) and threw it away.
Maybe I got a lemon.........?
