(More customer reviews)Desperate to try and save a few bucks on my electric bill I thought I should at least give this product a try. I had no problem hanging the plastic. The double sided tape and plastic were very forgiving. My first window looks as good as the last one. You can barely tell it is there. I tried it out in one room at first to see how well it does. It works! I did the rest of my house after that. Well, I did leave a couple of windows uncovered just in case the weather warmed up. Once this stuff is up it is an all or nothing deal, that window is out of commision until you pull the plastic down. I did have a smooth surface available around each window which does help the tape adhere, might be a consideration if you have heavily textured walls. I don't know how much paint will be ripped off of the walls come spring. It is worth the risk.
