(More customer reviews)First of all, the pic that Amazon has for this product is the wrong color, they are not shiny brass, these are antique brass in color (so dark and not shiny).
I wrote my review at HardwareAndTools dot com. You can see the product color there, and they are cheaper there too. I also had to use a washer as a shim for the windows whose sashes were not flush with each other, but a 1/8" thick brass washer worked like a charm to fix that problem!

Had 12 old wooden windows with no window locks - these look great! I did swap out the included 1" screws with 1 1/4" screws for better hold. Put 2 on each window and now I have peace of mind that my windows are secure.
