(More customer reviews)Depending on what you attach them to, you may have to remove and reverse the screws that tighten it to the unit, but it's very easy to do (and mentioned in the manual). Installation was dead simple. Ideally I'll never know if it actually works, but I've learned the hard way that lightning surges CAN get into unprotected RS-232 lines, and I have an expensive audio preamp that suffered the consequences, so lesson learned.
