I've used this product on my window, and on my glass desk. After following the instructions and seeing the outcome, as well as reading online about other similar products I've come to the conclusion that it's companies like Gila that make home improvement projects much more complicated than they need to be.
Other window film manufacturers use static cling instead of adhesives to avoid sticky goop, Gila didn't...
Other window film manufacturers printed out a grid on the back peal so that you can cut straight lines for easier application later on, Gila didn't...
So what you get is a product that is difficult to apply, is instantly RUINED if it adheres to itself by accident while pealing off the back, is difficult to cut, leaves a mess on your windows when you try to take it off, and makes window frosting much more difficult than it needs to be.
AVOID, Gilla. Instead search for scandinaviandesigncenter or raredevice on google.
