Stapling plastic to the window trim is not a viable option because the apartment owner will charge me for having to replace or fix the window trim. I put this around the window and doorwall last night to seal the leaks. I immediately felt a difference in the temperature of the room and no more drafts. And it peels off and cleans up very easily. The only thing you have to be careful of is the fumes it leaves behind. I suggest you start with the biggest windows and leave the others open to air out the fumes as you seal up the remaining windows. Try to leave the window closest to a door last.
