(More customer reviews)I am very pleased with this alarm system. It offers the same things that Brinks, ADT or any other professional security company would do without the monthly bill. After doing a little research I found out that rather if you hire a professional security company or install your own alarm system, it is against the law to have a alarm system dial directly to the police or 911. They will not respond to a pre-recorded message. That is why any professional security company will always call you first before calling the police and that is the same thing that this system will do. It calls you (with your prerecorded message) than you call the police. You also need to contact your local police department to find out if the city you live in requires you to have a (ALARM PERMIT). It only cost an average of $25.00 a year. Without an (ALARM PERMIT), you can be find heavily.
The alarm is easy to install, easy to program and it has a number of great features. If by any chance, someone managed to get in your house with out setting off a door or window sensor, they still won't get passed the motion detectors. The alarm will sound off (which is very loud) and the system will continuously dial up to 6 phone numbers (people that you know) to call the police. If your phone line is cut the alarm will sound off. If someone tries to tamper with the system the alarm will sound off. If you are at home, it can be set to turn off the motion detectors and still arm the door/ window sensors so you can move about your house freely. There are a few other features for personal preference. All in all I think it is a very good system and would recommend it to anyone. AAS also offer a number of different size packages to meet your needs.
