(More customer reviews)The 300GB Velociraptor was a great drive till I discovered raid and raided two 300GB VR's and seen the enormous speed improvement. Now that I have replaced them with these white label/refurbished 600GB VR's my speed has increased by about 16% and doubled my space. The drives have proven their reliability and are quiet. Using passmark software I tested my two raid set ups, 300GB VR's VS 600GB VR's. Point wise in pass mark testing, from raided 300GB VR's-1350 points to the raided 600GB VR's-1560 points. Transfer speeds from/to my OCZ solid state were averaging about 200MB/s. Were as my raided 300GB VR's were about 140MB/s. I tested the 600GB VR's on a SATA 6.0GB/s MB, tests varied, I used an ISO of a game that was 7GB, but overall, price, speed and hdd space, I am happy with my purchase. I have seen a small incress in load times of my games, but the only time I really noticed the speed was in file transfer. I would recommend these drives to everyone.
