Symphony Portable Evaporative Cooler Features 3,000 CFM of Cooling Review

Symphony Portable Evaporative Cooler Features 3,000 CFM of Cooling
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This item is truelly a piece of crap.
1.Their so called cooling pad (Made of bamboo pieces with a net over. This is more like early 20th century technology. What a piece of cheap crap) gets dirty and dusty and there isn't a way to clean it. There aren't any instructions (Their whole instuction booklet is a one page sheet) and I tried my best to clean it but didn't find a way. I unscrewed some screws trying to take a part out to clean it but decided to put them back after about 10 screws. Looked as you have to take the whole thing apart but I didn't take a chance doing it knowing how bad a product this is and it may never work again
2.It gives a bad odor after a little use.
3.The wheels keep falling off every time you try to move it.
4.The chord is very short and you'll definitely need extensions to reach the outlet.(Huge piece of crap with very short chord. Chord can barely reach the floor. What a joke)
5.The water level gauge is inaccurate and very easy to over fill it with water spilling onto your floor.
I don't know if there are any comparable products in the market but I strongly suggest you do search for one and I am (1000% sure) anything will be better than this made in India crap.

Holmes HAOF910-UC Blizzard Table Fan with Removable Grill Review

Holmes HAOF910-UC Blizzard Table Fan with Removable Grill
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Even though there was no image for this fan, we liked the floor Blizzard so much I ordered this one, anyway, because of the removable grill. This little fan can move air! Boy, can it move air; and it's going to be a fantastic tool to remove smoke from the house when the wood stove back-drafts this winter....and a wonder at drying herbs in the garden shed....BUT, this thing is so loud you have to shout over it even when it's on the low setting. It's like having a jet engine in the house! So, if you want to move air in a big way, I'd highly recommend it. But, if you want a fan for the bedroom for a nice little breeze while you sleep, keep looking.

Whynter Eco-Friendly 5 in 1 Evaporative Air Cooler (HAC-100S) Review

Whynter Eco-Friendly 5 in 1 Evaporative Air Cooler (HAC-100S)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Whynter Air Cooler/Heater/Humidifier
Timeframe: 2 months
My usage conditions: 51F to 78F, Humidity 60% to 80%
Functions used: Heater, evaporative air cooler, humidifier.
Design:
I selected this primarily for the design and color scheme. I did not want another white/beige appliance or some psychedelic blue or pink candy painted device. Conventionally shaped and subtle in overall appearance. Top marks.
Functionality: The Whynter air cooler is a misnomer, while it does a solid job cooling a 150square foot space, it does a whole lot more than cool. The heat was nice to have when the temperature dipped and the humidity control is very useful when dealing with dry air resulting from heater use. Intuitive and easy to control. The water tank at the base take a bit of jiggering to slide in and out but otherwise I do not have any issues with it. The filters built into the unit do provide some degree of purification. My room air purifier lasted about 30% longer before the indicator light came on. It is light weight and portable, but be careful when you move it with the water tank filled.
Quality:
Well built with softtouch controls. The remote control was responsive and fit nicely into the attached holster on the unit. Material is were primarily plastic. Easy to clean and maintain. Pre-filter is easily removed and cleaned. No fuss device.
Price:
Quite reasonable for all that it does. I would take this over 3 or 4 separate devices any day.
Overall:
One of my better purchases this year. top scores across the board.

Lasko 20" Weather-shield W Thermo Review

Lasko 20 Weather-shield W Thermo
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have five fans throughout the house, and this is by far the worst. It makes a loud noise even on the lowest setting, and on high blows less air than my other 20" box fans. I have not used the thermostat setting because it's so noisy it would wake me up with it cutting on and off. Until now, I have been very pleased with the noise and performance of the Lasko fans I own -- maybe I got a lemon. How disappointed am I? I'm online right now to buy a replacement for this brand new fan.

O2-Cool Model 1054 10" Indoor/Outdoor Fan Review

O2-Cool Model 1054 10 Indoor/Outdoor Fan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I HAD to review this after reading the only other review for this fan. I am certain I have reviewed this fan for Amazon before, but for some reason don't see it here. I use two of these fans to move air around in my 20x10 Swiss Gear tent while camping in Texas. It is made from plastic and like all other plastic products, it is breakable if you muscle your way to using it wrong, but usage is fairly straight forward. To open the leg, simply swing it down from the back of the fan on its hinge. Opening the battery compartment is fairly simple as well if you understand what lock, and unlock icons mean. The fan moves LOTS of air, and the ones I own have taken plenty of abuse being tossed into and out of the back of my truck for the last two years. My only complaint with them is the battery compartment cover is a little tough to get back on until you figure out exactly how it works, and on high it will suck an expensive set of D cell batteries down in 24 hours. If you use these a lot, I would STRONGLY recommend getting a couple of sets of rechargable D cells and a charger, OR getting the model with the built in rechargable batteries. I like that this model is also available with a transformer that you can use to run it off of 110v power, which makes camping in sites with electricity much less of a drain in the wallet! I rated this fan a 5 as I feel it is the best of its breed. It is NOT to be compared to a corded box fan or anything like that since you do different things with them. But this fan is the absolute best of its kind that I have tried. I have used several different models from Coleman, this thing moves so much more air that there really is no comparison. The Coleman fans simply do not move air like this thing does...

Experience powerful performance and convenient portability with this 10-inch fan. The versatile unit plugs into a wall outlet with the included AC adaptor for use in a bedroom or workspace, or it runs cordlessly for over 72 hours with the use of eight D cell batteries (not included), making it a nice choice when traveling or camping by the lake. The indoor/outdoor personal fan offers quiet operation, two speed settings, and the option to tilt the head to direct airflow where it's needed most. It also comes with a convenient flip-up hook and handle for flexible placement almost anywhere and a folding design that saves on space when not in use. Great for everyday cooling relief and fresh airflow, as well as emergency situations when the power's out, the portable fan measures approximately 3-2/3 by 11-8/9 by 12-1/5 inches.

Lakewood LFF2009C-GM 20-Inch Power Fan Review

Lakewood LFF2009C-GM 20-Inch Power Fan
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I got this to replace an older and similar fan by the same maker but the plastic is really pretty cheap. It's quiet and works fine, though the air flow is less than the older one I have and less than a "wind machine," which, if you look closely, you can see that the blades are wider, and the construction is definitely better so I think worth the extra few bucks. Unless you have narrowish windows, in whcih case this one is a couple inches narrower and so more like to fit. There's actually a small crack in the plastic, so I'm going to send this one back. Could be worse, but could be better. Note that there's another Lakewood listed here and that might be better quality, but I'm tired of mailing these things around so am gonna stick with the wind machine!
