(More customer reviews)I enjoy the overall look of the locks and after a couple of years they have held-up well.
My only complaint is that they don't seem to lock as tight as the typical sash lock. Because they grasp the outside sash from above and behind, instead of locking underneath, they don't feel as secure. Let's face it, if a burglar wants to get in, a simple sash lock is not going to stop them but still, the older style gives a little more protection. It's really a trade off, a better look for a little less protection. I'd recommend them for 2nd floor windows or in a neighborhood that is safer. (if there are any 'safe' neighborhoods left!)
