(More customer reviews)My husband and wanted to be able to open up our front door without having to install a storm door, this is the perfect solution. Installation is pretty easy and can be done in a couple of hours. We got sent a box with a mix of white and sandstone colored pieces but after sending an email to customer service we were promptly sent the right pieces. Very impressed with the customer service of this company and even more impressed with the screen door. We have had our front door open everyday since installing. I have a one year old son so I also have a safety gate in the doorway so he won't try running through the screen which is working great and would recommend for both kids and pets.

(More customer reviews)I have had this screen door sitting in my garage for three years while my house was getting remodeled. Finally I installed this door, all the parts were there and in perfect condition, since it was still in the original box, just to note that.
We choose the outside mount installation method for the single screen. The issue we faced was on step #14 of the instructions, it instructed to drill 3/8" holes using the 1/8" as guides through the bottom rail so that we could secure it. By doing so the track was completely useless to run the door in, it took us 8 hours to deburr it and it STILL catches on the burrs and screws and is almost unusable now. We need a new bottom track to replace the one that was damaged by the faulty instructions. Even with a new track it is unknown how we are going to be able to complete the installation with the method that is described in the instructions. It would be easier if the bottom piece was the same height as the top rail piece or if the installation method called for drilling DOWN instead of through the side right through the tracks of the door.

34680 32"WHT Storm Door Review

(More customer reviews)I purchased a completely new, sealed in the box, unit. The sweep that attaches to the bottom of the door was missing. It's a smaller piece and easy to overlook when packaging. No big deal I thought.
Trying both Larson's Customer Services phone number and their customer support website, it took over 24 hrs to get through to someone. (Their website allows you to upload pictures which I did. Pretty cool.)
Larson denied my request to send me a replacement sweep, however, they would sell me one for $14.95. When I why they wouldn't replace the missing piece for free they said it was an older unit and I probably bought it on sale/clrarance. I told the support person I was going to return the whole door. I got the impression they could care less.
After cooling down, I admit I've got too much into this project to take the door back now. I'll deal with the retailer and see if there is anything he can do to help.

(More customer reviews)The advertisement for the Screen Door Grill (screen guard) is a bit confusing. By the pictures, one is led to believe that both pieces are part of the item that is being proposed. In my case, I was interested in the scroll screen guard and what was delivered was the mesh screen guard.
The screen arrived in a UPS damaged box which contained a bent screen guard. Fortunately, I didn't have to return the item that I didn't want because it was damaged. UPS reimbursed the supplier and the supplier provided a credit to my card.
Had the correct item been available and shipped without damage, this could have been a good experience. All parties were very responsive to the issues.

(More customer reviews)I've had this screening installed for over 2 years on one window. Have 2 cats that like to use the window screen as a scratching post as well as claw on to it and use it to help pull themselves up on the window, putting most of their weight on it.
A few months ago I purchased more to install on other windows and it's been doing well there too.
The strands are thicker than regular screening and the mesh size (holes) appear slightly larger. It's hard to tell if the holes are bigger or they just look bigger because of the wider strands.
Visibility through them is good.
Overall I'm very happy with these screens because I don't have to replace the screens every year or so after they get clawed up.

(More customer reviews)I bought this because I live in a rental place thinking I wouldnt need to drill or screw anything into the doorwall because the product states "Simple to install NO TOOLS !. Well to my surprise thats the first thing they ask you to do. The screen itself does not line up with the door they say it fits any door up to 36 inches and my door measured 35 inches. I measured it purposely to make sure it would fit before purchasing it. The gaps that remain around the door would let every insect in bringing me to the third misleading thing about this product. "It keeps out insects and other pests". Pretty hard to hold up to that claim when you have gaps all the way around the door. Very misleading represenation of this product. Save yourself the hassle and go with something different.

(More customer reviews)I finally had a chance to complete my new screen door yesterday, and I used New York Wire Clear Advantage for the screening.
I had checked it immediately upon arrival due to a previous review complaining of damage. Mine had no damage, but I was still a little worried just how dark this looked on the roll, and even upon installation (I was making the door in unnatural light in the basement).
Sure enough, once I installed the door to the outside world, it looks fantastic, near invisible.
This screen seems to be more lightweight than metallic versions I've used before.
My experience was great: good price and good quality.

(More customer reviews)These screen doors are very poor quality. The velcro came off its tape backing after about a week. The doors do not fit tightly across the edges of the door. The weighting on the bottom of the screen is not heavy enough to keep the screen from blowing inside and wide open. Also - the screens DO NOT fit any size door. They only fit the 36 inch door, anything smaller, and you cannot attach the screen to the door frame without leaving bulges and gaps. I would not recommend this product unless you live somewhere where there is NEVER any wind or rain.

(More customer reviews)I have a fenced-in back yard and three years ago, bought one of these to hang in the back door because I didn't want to cut a hole in walls or doors to install a permanent dog door. My idea, of course, was to give the dogs the freedom to come and go as they please, and to ease my role as doorman. From about April to October, the storm door and house door are open whenever practical, and the set-up has worked just as I had hoped. I get very few insects inside, and after some hesitation at first, the dogs are totally comfortable with it. The screen panels hang from an adjustable spring rod, and the magnets both weight it and close it every effectively. This year, after over two years of use, the dogs tore it a little, and I bought another to have in reserve, simply because it's ingenious and effective. As for human use, when my hands are full, I use an elbow or whatever I'm carrying to press against the center, and it opens fine, and closes behind me.

One day I had my window open I saw a gigantic beetle looking bug sitting my leg. That was the day I ordered this product. It works wonders. Allows in the fresh air, keeps out the bugs! I recommend this 100%, cheap way of keeping the bugs out but the fresh air in!
